I just read an article...thought I would share it.
Baroness Warnock: Elderly with Dementia have a "Duty to Die" Called "a regression to the brutal ancient world, when enforced suicide as a punishment was commonplace"
The link to the article came from here...."Elderly with Dementia have a "Duty to Die"My very brief thought...
Has it ever occurred to people who think this way that it just may not be about the elderly person with dementia or the invalid, but that it may be about living a selfless life serving others to the best of our ability? It just may be about pouring ourselves out to nurture and care for the sick and elderly in some way. I don't think it is about the dementia or "drain on public resources."
The real burden here is the mentality that someone else is a burden.
We are a selfish lot, aren't we?Lord Jesus...please cleanse our hearts of all unrighteousness.

Hi Susan,
We just watched a bunch of videos of Gianna Jessen on YouTube... her message is exactly the opposite from this "Baronness." One thing she said was that we have so much to learn from those who are weak, and when we destroy them, we're the ones who lose.

Oh, tears and head shaking...it is no comfort to me that the people who just pushed through the SB2747 here in CA, are blinded by the god of this world, and cannot see true reality. It is now a law that terminally ill be informed that they can legally commit suicide. Heart breaking, yet, doesn't it ring of hope, that my Saviour is almost here? I hope so.
Congratulations Susan for winning Second Place in the contest!!
@ThistleDewFarm - I've met Gianna in person and have heard her speak and I say a big AMEN to her message!
By the way....how'd did things go????? I am dying to know!
