When friends come a visiting.......
How many things can you fit into a weekend???? We tried, we really tried to do them all.
Sleep??? What sleep? What was
that you said Casey..."we'll get all the sleep we need when we die?"
What a grand time we had cramming in as much as we could and then just
sitting around talking and laughing....and eating.
All good things must come to an
end and the weekend ended all too quickly.
Our family was so very blessed
to have spent this time together with him!
Our "off to the airport" shot
I am thinking we look pretty good for it being 4AM!

Loved seeing the pics! You look absolutely wonderful Susan! I never would have guessed it was at 4am! (sincerely so) Wow, I probably would have been puffy eyed at that early hour....You are all looking so chipper from the pic! Must have been some happy times there at your loving home. : )
Thank you for that loving comment, boy did I need that... You sound so much like me, and you are so correct, we are strong in the Lord, but when it comes to the dragon ladies...we had better stay far away from those places that seem to breed them! They are scary. My husband always reminds me of several things, how conviction stirs those types up in strange ways, how it's usually spiritual when things just don't make sense like that, and how the Bible speaks of jealousy and envy, who can stand against it?
In the meantime, it doesn't make it easy when we feel like the gates of hell were unleashed on us...I'm learning to listen more and more to that still small voice. I thank God for you! And I receive those hugs! I'll be back hopefully this afternoon to link to the other blogs and get to know everyone a bit better! : D
Love to you dear friend, and a most happy hug too! ~Amelia
