hi susan, just stopping by to check in and see how you are doing?  i hope and pray you are continuing to feel better day to day.  you have lots of prayers covering you here in washington.

i loved looking at the pictures on elisabeth’s blog.  what a fun event she and kate put together.  i wish i was there learning to dance, and i love the clothes.  i would have to make an era dress! lol

while unpackig i came across some small beaded purses, that came to me from an older mentor in berkeley.  she left her home to move into an assisted living apartment and gave me a few purses that had belonged to her mother.  the friend is probably in her late 80′s now and the purses belonged to her mother, and they may be from the 40′s.  i thought i’d see if elisabeth might like them before i add them to my donation pile.  i don’t collect antique purses, and she also gave me a beautiful bookmarker that i cherish as a wonderful memory of our friendship.  i cannot state for fact what year they are from, but if you think elisabeth might be interested i am happy to send them on to you all.

how is your weather?  we are fighting rain.  i was out with the dogs late this afternoon, in the annoying seattle drizzle, praying that we might have sun this week so i can pull weeds in dry weather.
